I bought this jet boat about 3 years ago in Kansas City Kansas. This year (2010) I had the engine bored out 040 over and new Keith Black forged 10.5 to 1 pistons, Eagle Racing rods, Cam Dynamics hydraulic cam, the Big Block Oval port heads were rebuilt with new valve guides and valves and springs, Edelbrock RPM intake manifold with 750 Holley double pumper, Mallory Marine magnetically triggered distributor and matching Mallory Marine coil.

I'm re-wiring the boat this winter with correctly colored AWG Marine tinned wire and the correct marine tinned connectors with heat shrink, and adding a fuse panel to her as she never had one. I'm also replacing all the instrument gauges in the dash with white colored Auto Meter "Phantom" gauges to clean up the dashboard.

I made a jet boat wiring diagram on my home computer using Paint and Word for Windows, to have a color coded diagram for future use....since the boat didn't have one...and because Starbuck is out of business. This was printed on photo paper and laminated, so I could leave it in the boat under a seat for quick reference if needed.

From my research for manuals/wiring harness information the Starbuck company was located in Colorado, but went out of business and there does not appear to be any available manual for this boat.

I named the boat "Bad Attitude" - just sort of looked like a good name when I stared at it from behind.

Next year in 2011 I will get some pictures of the boat in the water here at Smithville lake in Missouri for you.
